1. Core Structure and Size Advantages

R-Type transformers utilize two symmetrical U-shaped cores, resulting in a compact structure. They are approximately 30% smaller, 40% thinner, and 40% lighter than traditional EI transformers.
EI transformers are composed of stacked "E" and "I" plates, making them relatively bulky and limiting size adjustment options. They are the most common core form for low-frequency power transformers.
